IP Indonesia, The Overview

The cultural diversity in Indonesia forces us to understand the important of Intellectual property’s role in everyday activity. The diversity, of course, has many elements like culture, social, regulation, etc. to support the continuity of the Indonesian society. Unfortunately, the Intellectual Property now is still a problem that has to be taking care of. This happens because of the lack of understanding of the important of the knowledge of the intellectual Property itself.

The big problem that we face about the IP today is the minimum socialization about it to the community and it is also because of that the knowledge of the IP is centered to the knowledge obtained by the Law Faculty Students. Actually there are organizations that already actively involved in promoting the role and the function of the IP, but the impact is not yet visible to many people.  

Concerning to this condition, IP Indonesia starts to educate the role and the function of IP to the community, slowly but sure. IP Indonesia is a foundation which established on the base of the concern from the founders about the important of the IP in the community.
